King Sago Palm (cycas revoluta)

This unique plant, while slightly resembling a palm tree, is actually a cycad. These living fossils dominated the landscape during the Mesozoic era. Sago is most attractive when the new leaves appear in late spring and emerge as light green soft, feathery spikes. King Sago is a compact grower and well suited to growing in a large container for enjoyment in your urban plant collection.
